Client: Cornerstones of Science
Primary Project Tasks:Assist in the development of the organization's 2015-17 strategic plan, facilitate board and library partner meetings, and support the Executive Director. Serve as the Project Coordinator for Empowering public libraries to transform into community resource science centers – a 30-month $1.2M informal science initiative in Maine and Massachusetts
Description: Cornerstones of Science was founded on the belief that, in this rapidly changing world, all members of our communities need to understand the relevance of science and technology on their daily lives and the world around them. The mission is to strengthen science literacy by working in partnership with public libraries. Through engaging programs it connects people with science and technology and seek to stimulate lifelong learning.
